So Kevin, tell us a little something about your self.
L
I am Hotel Mgr. Interests include Making Descent2
levels (Most of my levels are for single player) Also
I like Kali multiplaying (newcomer), and Keyboards(music).
Married, two children.
This guy at work brought in the Descent shareware
and loaded it on the office computer. I became eventually
hooked. I purchased my own copy of registered, then
found Devil level editor, and started making my own
levels.
Why do you continue to play Descent?
L
Its the best game out there. The upgrades to the game
periodically keep my interest fresh. It doesnt seem
inclined towards evil.
Why do you spend countless hours designing levels?
L
Level making is an obsession for me. The thrill of
creating something that entertain others keeps my attention
focussed. I lke the choice to do something artistic.
What is your "Design Philosophy"?
L
I start with the room macros. I make rooms that seem
real and have unique architecture.
What level Editor do you like and why?
L
I use Devil21h to make most of the Macros, and to
insert items. DMB2 is used to do the textures, and the
connecting corridors.also I like the new blinking lights
and the robot workshop, and the custom textures possible
with DMB2. I use Descent Studio to Make Hog files(multiple
levels) Dtx2 and Paint Pro are used to get the custom
textures. I use DTX to import custom music files. These
editors are used for ease of operation.
What do you want to say to the Descenter's that use
your Levels?
L
I really like the feedback.
Is there anything you think I should include in this
interview section? (So it properly portray's you the
person)
L
You might put in the thanks to People and Companies,
I list in the credits located on my text files
